Green Carpet Benefit + Screening
Marketing, Promotion, + Event Coordination: A green carpet benefit + screening of the short PSA film iThemba and promotions for the documentary release. I created all the marketing material including the invites, tickets, and eye-catching social media posts utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator. I photographed and managed the event from the initial conception through all the stages of planning and organizing, including negotiating with vendors, obtaining the best prices on food and drinks, scheduling transportation for our celebrity guest from LA and back by limo and working with his manager, organizing the silent auction and seeing the event through to the very end. As a team we collected silent auction items, resulting in a successful silent auction raising over $12,000 in this short 1.5 hour cocktail reception & screening. We are so grateful to have the support of actor, Ed Asner, to narrate the documentary and be a part of this amazing evening.
